Nou ja "city" ... Noem het eerder villagehopping. Van Cody rijden we naar Lander, waar we een camping hebben met uitzicht over het Sink Canyon state park. Op de camping is een waterpark(je) waar Kylian en Maartje veel lol in beleven. Een hike naar de waterval van het state park blijkt voor Kylian dit keer een te grote opgave dus haken we halverwege …

Made poached eggs for the Master and struck out to see a little of Cheyenne. We stayed way too long at the train station Museum in downtown but explored it thoroughly. What an amazing feat to build our transcontinental railroads....and a wooden trestle bridge with lumber hauled in from Michigan!

We left Tetons early in the morning after dumping the tanks and taking on water. We drove about 180 miles down the north side of the Wind River Range to Lander, Wyoming. We searched online and found a free campsite at the Lander City Park. Woo hoo. Stopped first at the Ace Hardware store to fill up on propane. We are set for several days of inexpensive dry camping.

... we pressed on to Casper, Wyoming. By the time we arrived in Casper, it was time for lunch.  After a little searching, we found a place to park the trailers and grab some food.  Peaches Family Restaurant was definitely "old Casper", with a decor and menu that dated back to the Brady Bunch era.  After eating, we headed out of town and continued west across Wyoming 20 towards Lander.  This was a long, empty drive. ...
