    In-town tree retreat

We are surrounded by trees and only blocks from the town center, an ideal biking distance away. We enjoyed warm, freshly made mini-donuts & coffee in the morning and discovered later that our neighbors Tom & Diane happen to know Jonathan's mom Nancy!

    Nice Find!

Nice, clean well run park under huge Cottonwood Trees in a funky little city full of cafes and coffee shops! Try Minnies for soup and sandwich. Two bike shops in downtown, heck everything is downtown!
Being on the divide and having a grassy tenting area, this park attracts bikers and hikers from the Great Divide Trail.

Historic charm at a very relaxed pace

Walking the length of the main Bullard street downtown, we stopped in to the food coop before having lunch at Vicki's on the patio. I loved the artwork of WNMU instructor Judith Meyer and talking to the owner of Seedboat gallery where her work was showing.

We got started out early today, as we were traveling far.....everything out here is far. Nothing is close. Our destination today was the Gila Cliff Dwellings.

To say they are remote would be an insult to remote. They were out there. It's around 45 or 50 miles from where we are to the cliff dwellings. There is NOTHING between here and …

Another 348 miles under us today. We got up, had a bite to eat, and headed to the car wash! The motorhome had a coat of grime and salt on it from our trip down here. Every time I would touch it I had to wash my hands. And all that salt doesn't help either. Best to get rid of it...and we did. Not a fine tooth comb cleaning...just enough to get the …

Up to relatively recently cowboys would take shelter in these caves as they passed through the South West before President Roosevelt made it a National Monument in 1907.

He was a not your typical guy from Chelmsford. He had been a kite maker and salesman, a kitchen designer and once tried to import saunas for distribution for Essex. Rob or bob as he liked, was staying at the camp ground over the road, had been travelling around the world for a few years. He just bought ...
