Nice, clean well run park under huge Cottonwood Trees in a funky little city full of cafes and coffee shops! Try Minnies for soup and sandwich. Two bike shops in downtown, heck everything is downtown!
Being on the divide and having a grassy tenting area, this park attracts bikers and hikers from the Great Divide Trail.

In Mesilla, it was very hot (about 95 F), and we, after some disorientation, walked 3 blocks to the famous La Posta de Mesilla for lunch. I had a very good chile relleno.

After lunch, we walked around the Mesilla Plaza, looking into shops.

He was a not your typical guy from Chelmsford. He had been a kite maker and salesman, a kitchen designer and once tried to import saunas for distribution for Essex. Rob or bob as he liked, was staying at the camp ground over the road, had been travelling around the world for a few years. He just bought ...

We arrived in Silver City, New Mexico about 7pm on Sunday night. We made it to our destination! We left Amarillo about 9am on Sunday morning. As we were leaving town we saw the Cadillac Ranch sculpture just off of the interstate. Cadillac Ranch was created by millionaire artist Stanley Marsh in 1974 and features 10 graffiti Cadillacs buried in the ground in the middle of a corn field. We made ...
