Made it all the way to Newberry, Mi last night and stayed at a Comfort Inn. These places are pretty basic, but they have a free breakfast so that helps. This morning's fare was waffles that you make yourself, eggs and sausages, various cereals, fresh fruit, doughnuts, toast, coffee and juice...hard not to have too much.... Got up this morning and couldn't decide if we would stay another day/night, but we did decide to stay. Well, wouldn't you know it, we are here in the Upper Peninsula and it's right in the middle of mosquito and black fly season,. OMG, the mosquitos are unbelievable.
