... corn on the side. Gab had a large Greek salad. Marie had chicken noodle soup and a small chicken Caesar salad and a Stolly type drink. I had a small Caesar salad a red wine and a dessert tasting plate. $80 all up.

Unfortunately, heavy rain with thunder and lightning had started while we were eating - there would be no fireworks over the falls tonight :(. So back to the hotel for a spa and an early night.

... a little more sometimes. The Padres chances were not looking good after the 4th inning and at the end we had seen a few home runs and the Bucs made sure the Padres did not sweep the series.

An enjoyable game finished we hopped in the car to make our way to Niagara to see the falls the next day. Tonight would be our first real disappointment picking a mystery hotel, this time on Expedia (not our usual Hotwire) At a fancy total price of $41.14 we got the Advantage ...

... The crowds have thinned out allowing time to fully appreciate the view. My favourite colour is the teal giving the impression it could be frozen. the water flows almost in slow motion as it drops so far to the rocks below, this is emphasised by the light .

The contrast of the nature of the falls against the "street of fun" is shocking. I went from inspirational nature to bright lights and outlandish sights in the time ...
