After a relaxed morning we set off in the car to Niagara Falls. The journey took about an hour and was good apart from terrible weather. Heavy rain and poor visibility meant we were not looking forward to seeing the falls today!

As the rain eased we though we might go to Niagara-on-the-Lake stopped at the Information Centre for brochures bought a Adventure Pass to four attractions Journey beyond the Falls, Niagara Fury short movie, Maid of the Mist and Whit Water Walk. Drove from Niagara Falls to Toronto today via Niagara on the Lake with a stop at Fort George, where we saw muskets drills being practiced, fifes and drums being played, artillery shot. We had a good day of travel yesterday. There were only a few bumps, like missing our turn and scrambling to find a gas station before we ran out of gas, but other than that, the day was very pleasant.
