After checking out the other campgrounds in the area we chose to stay here because of the price. The campground is only about a block away from the KOA and is $40.00 cheaper. The place was very clean and tidy. They have a swimming pool, playground area and treed for good amount of shade. You are only 10 to 15 mins from the falls and it is a straight drive there.

Got a slow start this morning before we headed to Niagara on the Lake. Stopped at many spots on the road to the lake. We got to the gondola that went over the river at a spot called the Whirlpool. After a hearty and tasty cooked Canadian breakfast skilfully prepared by Sylvia, I took a last walk out in the snow. I walked up the road from Sylvia and Rob's cottage, taking a few photos and just taking it all in. It was such a beautiful morning, with snow over the road and all through the forest, morning sunlight making its way down through the tops of the trees and hitting the snow with a diamond like sparkle. Rob drive the ...

... we returned to our room around 8:15, we found that John's luggage had NOT been delivered. He was NOT a happy camper, to say the least! A call to the tour director and the front desk and some searching by the bell staff---suitcase found and delivered before 9. A long day but the next would be more exciting as we would get up close and personal with the falls.

... West. Progress only impeded by several rest stops - both for passengers as well as the Suburban. Our trusty Suburban often will get 20+ mpg on highway driving, but towing our camper we're pretty much at the 10 mpg mark. That takes our 500 mile travel range down to a messily 250.

The scenery was very nice - The Berkshires are still lush and green. The Hudson River ...
