          ... can truly appreciate the beauty of this. We signed up for the tour and wandered around a bit while we waited. The grounds were gorgeous with beautiful flowers and ivy growing all over the aging buildings. The tour was really enjoyable, with a very dry and to the point tour guide.           ... food taste bad. Smoke gets stuck in your clothes. Smoke makes you feel dirty. Unfortunately, the wood we have seen in campgrounds is mostly ponderosa pine or some other pitchy pine. So, for the last 6 nights the campfires have burned hot and a little too smokey, no matter how good you are at making a campfire.

          ... of just immediate family, but it was great wingding, including close family, friends, kids and dogs. About 30 folks I think; great food and lots of vino, it was fun. This side of Dave’s family is very cool, and I am thrilled that we are something akin to neighbors. One niece lives in Santa Rosa, the other in Marin. Their parents live in Virginia, but fly in often. It’s a nice added bonus to my relocation.
