... can truly appreciate the beauty of this. We signed up for the tour and wandered around a bit while we waited. The grounds were gorgeous with beautiful flowers and ivy growing all over the aging buildings. The tour was really enjoyable, with a very dry and to the point tour guide. I went into the NFL shop and picked up a couple of snapback hats, one Stanford, a local university and the other was Notre Dame Irish. I next waited for the ferry back and a large Texan lady got chatting to me. She was a good laugh ...

On route to the inland glories we spend a couple of nights in Sacramento, actually the State capital, and a fine if federal town. At one end of the town, divided by a freeway, is Old ...
