... to the Upper falls which are quite pretty with the different colours showing up in the water. A short drive to the Lower falls and a longer walk to see a series of cascades - again quite pretty. We did our exercise on the steps at the falls - about 100 at the first and closer to 200 at the second.

Everyone was on time to meet the Cracker Barrel in Sheffield Village, OH at 0700 this morning, and we had a quick breakfast and headed out toToledo to meet up with the last member of the group, Davy B.
One couple lost a helmet off the back of their bike in Toledo, but it was quickly recovered.
... Dam. We learned an important lesson about our GPS- the distance is "as a the crow flies" and what we thought would be 4 miles round trip ended up being almost 7 miles, which would have been fine except that is the furthest Lou had hiked on his new knee. He held up but was tired. Along the way we saw very “rustic” cabins tucked in the woods and bear scat.

... Bear Farm-bears that were rescued-mother dies, etc. Quirky place. Nice big areas for the adult bears but little cubs in large enclosure with just cement floors (owner said that the cement floors were mandated while the cubs were young). Owner was quite a character.
