We woke up a little later today but got the campsite packed up and got on the road by our planned departure time. Today we headed to our furthest north destination, Tahquamenon Falls near Paradise, Michigan, in the Upper Peninsula. On our way to the falls we crossed paths with Mel and Jim (who were also vacationing) at a small restaurant in Paradise. ...

Everyone was on time to meet the Cracker Barrel in Sheffield Village, OH at 0700 this morning, and we had a quick breakfast and headed out toToledo to meet up with the last member of the group, Davy B.

    Then, northward!

One couple lost a helmet off the back of their bike in Toledo, but it was quickly recovered.

... insight into the ship and an entire Lego model of the ship built by a teacher as an activity with his classes. It took 10 years to complete and contains over 18,000 pieces but is structurally accurate, even down to the boiler and engine rooms. It is a very impressive piece of work. The location of the museum is also beautiful; right on the tip overlooking Lake Superior, where you can see Canada on a clear day and includes a bird research center on the same ...
