          Handy, huge and expensive

This site is located just north of San Francisco so it's at a premium location. It is a "Resort" designated KOA and it's huge. It has lots of things to do, and keep kids amused. It's quite spread out and they have added washrooms/showers throughout the property but I'm a long walk from the store/office should I need anything. It's well maintained, the folks appear friendly, and the layout is nice with a tiered area to allow for some views of the surrounding hills. It's also expensive, almost twice as much as I usually pay at a usual "Traveller" KOA.

Spent a beautiful sunny 21C day exploring Point Reyes National Seashore......another special place.

Ocean, grasslands, beaches, forest......harbour seals, sea lions, and elephant seals [yes, ,they're all different], birds, deer, "tule" elk etc......on the migration route of the Gray Whale

OK...so we set out to visit 400 wineries in a day.....so we got through 5.....yep!..only 5 but they were GOOD!!

A beautiful sunny 20C day meandering the many regional roads through vineyards that went on forever....

We got to say we prefer [northern] Sonoma county over the Napa area......just more quaint and quiet than the …

OCTOBER 13, DAY 27 HEADING TO SAN FRANCISCO

This was mostly a driving day, but what a drive! We finally hit the scenic part of the coast and got to experience the scary driving we were told about. The road literally runs right along side of the cliffs and at some points you are right at the top of a high cliff with only the sea below. The …

... it is very cold and has rained all day. Remind you of any particular Aussie state???..

We headed back to Nash parents packed the car and said our final goodbyes and headed back to Nash and Jen's place for our last two nights in America, (our 6 weeks nearly over, I guess i should become a typical nagging wife now, & Glenn a grumpy old man?? ha ha). Anyway back to our day. Our drive back started out lovely, I even manage ...
