We had a bit of an issue this morning. No big deal but a pain none the less. When we originally made the reservation to stay here at the KOA we were told they could only give us our site for 2 days not 3 because someone had booked that site on what would be our third day. They put a separate reservation in on another site for that third night stay …

Time to catch up with our blog.....

Monday we hit the road again, leaving the fabulous Yosemite area. Hitting the road is a good term. The roads in California are awful! We are pulling out of Fresno today and heading north about 4 hours. Our plan at this point is to position ourselves so that we can get to a number of things without having to drive to awful far. Your choices in RV camping north of the San Francisco area are few and far between, particularly in rigs our size. We have found an older KOA in Petaluma …

Our mode of travel has changed from very casual to we need to focus on getting home. We up our driving distances to about 200 miles a day (a rush for us) We leave the campground by 8:15. The kabin was interesting and we will try it again. Because of time we have to forego Samoa and head south. I miss the Humboldt lighthouse. Gene saw it last night …
