Clean bathrooms and showers, nice pool. Friendly staff. Close to stores and restaurants.

Still not sure if it was our timing or poor TomTom (GPS) direction but we got into Vegas at 8 pm on a Sat. night driving down the Vegas strip trying to find parking for the 34' plus tow vehicle. Well Stan got the plumbing fixed. Good to be handy and able to do that in a shopping centre parking lot.
We went back to the strip for more walking around and a bit of gambling. Go figure.

Well we made our decision to go to Vegas. Drove the scenic route . Lots of desert, drove through Joshua Tree forest which is endless Joshua cacti. Well we had coffee at McD's but they didn't have wifi so that lets them out for future business. We took the shuttle and went to downtown Vegas. As luck would have it, streets were closed for the Martin Luther King parade - not sure if it their holiday for him or what - have to research it later.
