    Day 2 by Owen Our day started out with a yummy breakfast. We had eggs, bacon and fruit and muffins. Addison made the muffins. They were delicious! We had to pack up camp.     ... in Abilene and decided to take a motel for the night - the strong winds and 30 plus heat were deciding factors!! Tomorrow we visit the Eisenhower Library and Museum.Dwight D. grew up here. Abilene is also home to a Greyhound (the dogs) museum, a telephony museum and a carousel museum. Carousels were made here. It is also home to the Russell Stover Chocolate Factory. Not sure what else we will see after the Museum and Library.

    ... RV (after going by Freddy’s for French fries!). The burgers were ok but I have had better (that’s my critique)! Salina seems to be moving forward on the edge of town as it has quite a lot of fast food establishments as well as the usual strip mall stores we all know. The downtown is quaint as most we’ve seen in our travels.
