I stayed only one day, one night there for a very short stay in Koh Tao Islands. I stay basically two days and I decied to change the first hostel - seashell hostel - to Sairee hut Dive resort. The staff was very nice; very friendly and helpful. The room were clean [except that there are some ants in the room] and the bungalows are very comfortable. I would definitely suggest this hostel if you want to relax and stay in a nice environment. The swimming pool stays just on the beach and you can get a wonderful view of the beach and the sea from the swimming pool.I did not do diving but i think it is a good school to get the certificate!

... where dust kept flying in. Locals kept getting on the train at different stops and trying to sell food but it stunk and at one point a lady sat next to me with dried fish skin. I had to hold my breath for ages and try to stop myself from gagging. After the train we had to take a tuk tuk to the border, which dropped us off at 'pretend visa office' trying to rip us off. We realised it was a scam straight away as the Cambodian visa office would not be in Thailand,so we then headed to the Cambodian ...
