Easy 4 hour drive on the I-5 today. Arrived at our KOA at about 1pm. After having a lunch and setting up the trailer we drove a short distance to Old Sacramento. Wooden sidewalks and many restored buildings dating back to the 1850's. Area is much like Gastown. We went to an interesting historical museum, had a shaved ice in a soda shop and just …

... met up with Mike's longtime friend Jim and his beautiful family...what fun... mexican food, margaritas, and laughter!! It warms my very soul to hear my husband's laugh and to see him so happy. He was truly in his element and it was like Jim and he had not missed a beat the last 20 years!
Well it's midnight here so I better log off and get some rest. It's off to Yosemite in the morning.... I cant wait!!!

... rode the bus directly to the transfer stop, and finally got on the transfer bus to go up to Golden Gate. All this had taken a toll on all of us, but Aaron especially since transportation makes him critical, cranky, cynical, and prone to ranting about the futility of everything.

But the Golden Gate Bridge was well worth our transportation turmoil. I took one glance of the bridge and noticed that it was RED. Very, very red. Rhys informed me that ...
