Today is one of those days that you will remember for the rest of your life, and what makes this trip so worthwhile. After departing the KOA near Lodi, CA, we headed west on state Highway 12 toward Fairfield, California; for only about 40 miles. So we just got back to base last night and I am tasting the sweetness of freedom. It comes with me walking the mile or so to Starbucks and getting a Caramel Machiatto.
