Easy 4 hour drive on the I-5 today. Arrived at our KOA at about 1pm. After having a lunch and setting up the trailer we drove a short distance to Old Sacramento. Wooden sidewalks and many restored buildings dating back to the 1850's. Area is much like Gastown. We went to an interesting historical museum, had a shaved ice in a soda shop and just …

Nice and quiet and away from all the drunken tourists, but a little pricey ...

After a lovely lie in, Richard made us a great breakfast - potato, omelette, sausages, mushrooms - all delicious - thanks Richard.

We eventually got ourselves organised and headed for Downtown Sac, however there was a St Patrick's Day parade so it was manic. Change of plan...we set off the the ...
