Today is one of those days that you will remember for the rest of your life, and what makes this trip so worthwhile. After departing the KOA near Lodi, CA, we headed west on state Highway 12 toward Fairfield, California; for only about 40 miles. It was a pleasant drive, and noticed a distinct difference in the types of farming in this area. No more nut trees or truck farming, its all like what you see in the semi arid areas of the upper Midwest. Lush pastures, ...

... Yayyy! Tomorrow I make my way to Krabi for a bit then to Koh Phi phi that I have heard nothing but great things about. Very excited. A little less than a week and I'll be in Bali! Woo hoo! I hope everyone is well. Traveling by myself gets a little lonesome at times and I think about loved ones often and miss everyone. Marcus T-Mobile. America’s First Nationwide 4G ...

... life is just so beautiful!
We finally got back on the road and got into Sacramento around 11 PM, starving and looking for someplace open to eat, we found this strange little spot called Capitol Casino - it's like an Asian casino where they play Pai Gow and Angela and I were the only two females in the place. After a comedy of errors with her boyfriend trying to find us, he finally showed up which meant Angela and I had to part ways, which was kind of a bummer. She reminded me a lot ...

... we might just make it on the BART. So we sat for an hour enjoying the view of the Bay, then rode back to the city. At the ferry building we started running - up Market Street to the subway
        - entrance is blocked, use other side
        - lift is out of order, use stairs
        - this is why you need to be fit to travel!
Having made it on to the correct train (it was the 4th one coming in the same direction on the platform) - & then off again at the right stop! ...
