We are now headed back south to restock our motor home. We stop quickly in Anchorage and then head to the Russian River Campground. Haley and Mark are hoping to Salmon fish if they are running. We pass through Turnagain Arm. The tidal bore is a wall of water 10 feet high that rolls in very quickly. We missed seeing it come in. Maybe next time. …

... helped us climb into the raft. She then pushed off and the current began to move us down the river. The views from the middle of the river are amazing. The water’s edge is very reminiscent of Canadian shorelines that we have fished along, but in Alaska you also get snow covered mountains close by.
