We left Sutherlin yesterday and took the scenic route to Medford. This took us past fast running green rivers and hills covered in pine trees as far as the eye can see.

Mountain Man at the RV park told us it was free entry day at the Oregon Caves, so what they hay...we went. After Carlsbad, it's hard to compare, but as you'll see in the photos there were some cool formations. What was also really interesting was the science of caves we learned about. ... their snow skis and get to the other side without getting wet or falling in the freezing water. The big crowd enjoyed it too and the amount of beer being consumed by one and all must have boosted the centre’s profits nicely too! Along with the others we all enjoyed a good lunch there before heading back to Christian & Persephone’s home in the forest.

By the way, the two guys I'm traveling with and a car is never a good idea. They're like to drive really fast and to close! And I miss some girl time between all the testosterone. But otherwise is it fun to travel with them!

Got up at 8am, had breakfast looking at our river view, then Skyped Cat's parents. After that we got ourselves ready and headed off along Hwy 99 towards Crater Lake.
