... I remeber some of my fondest memories as a kid up here were at tide pools so I really wanted to go with Cale. Justin put Harlan in the carrier and we set out.....there was a make shift staircase from high above down....well, a cliff pretty much, to the beach. ... a bit through more windy roads with cliffs and rock formations too unique to describe. Any picture didn't do any justice...most pictures of road trips don't. Whit can relate...Dad and I both thought it reminded us of the stretch of road in western Wyoming near Yellowstone and that area with the HUGE dam in the middle of nowhere...remember that one Whit?? :) We almost took a tour with one of those radios that explained the history of each area...haha...but we were stapped ...

... a margarita and I had a Modelo Negra - yummy all the way around. After dinner we fixed up some Baileys with coffee again, sat outside and read for a while then walked around after it cooled down a bit. I'm writing this at 10:20 and it's still 87 degrees outside.

Lance's grandfather and uncle live in Grants Pass and we will be visiting them both tomorrow. We lare looking forward to spending a day with family :)

... everyone backward into its own 4-foot wake. Obviously this involves a lot of water splashing in as well, which I think on this day was alternately a plus for the kids and a serious drawback for the adults who were already concerned about being rained ...
