... as they roamed through the park. There were some more carnivorous or larger animals who were in more enclosed spaces but most meandered through as we drove. Some even came up to the window! There was an ostrich who was particularly curious about Oriah. Others like the deer we could actually reach out and touch, but for the ostrich we rolled the windows up- he was too curious. ... row and not on our car thank goodness.

We did a lot of driving today, about 13 hours on the road. Still trying to make up for the late start we got yesterday and still shaking our heads about the jeep. We had quite a bit of discussion about our next jeep and the need to get one you can manually take out of 4 wheel drive. We even discussed getting a trike bike to tow on the back :), yes we are just full of ideas.
