... in two (2) days – really not bad considering that we had to load 150+ boxes and some heavy antique furniture. Anyway, we’re here at the Peppermill Casino and Spa in Reno.
Our room looks like it’s from somewhere in Tuscany with the ornate furniture ...

... greeted by fog when we entered the state of Oregon but by the time we reached Medford the fog had made its appearance but then it was gone by the time we got to the Rogue River area which I really like, returning again through Grants Pass area. Happy to be done the hills. The Siskiyous crosses at the highest elevation for I5 (4310 ft.) ... seems it would be higher down south in California at El Tejon Pass ...

... is a one mile long ski lift ride to view the area and an historic lodge to maybe grab lunch at. We already have plans to drive along the historic old Columbia Gorge parkway and do a few short hikes.

We arrived in Grants Pass Oregon.

Our day started with traveling through down town San Francisco to get to the Golden Gate Bridge. It was foggy as always in San Francisco and we took our last picture of the city.

The way to Grants Pass lead us next to the coast up north and through the Redwood Forest. It rained like crazy that's why I don't have a lot ...

New tyre and riverside camping

... until it was ready and we got on our way. Heading out of town, we checked a few campsites, (even the state park, but apparently they only have 50 amp plug-ins) ending up with one with a riverside view. Once settled into our spot, we enjoyed the afternoon watching the river go by (and some strange boats, one of which had a pram in) and did some planning for the next few days. At around 6.30pm, we had some dinner watching the sun get lower ...
