Nice park in town. Old, but clean, and good position. Cheaper than ones at Cable Beach

Plenty of Shade. The Amenities are OK. Right on Town beach and plenty of shops/pub.

Very busy site, but our pitch was quite generous by UK standards. The facilities were adequate and lovely to walk straight onto the beach from the van. There was a lovely covered childrens play/water area on the site. There was also a cafe selling food drinks and ice creams.

Service was excellent, the ladies at the desk, Debbie and Elaine were great.
There is no pre-booking service, just first come-first served basis-Interesting for those who want to take the chance.
If the weather is unusually bad (it was super windy during our stay) then the wind hits Roebuck Bay and therefore the park.
It is located close to the Water playground which is free entry and the kids love it!!
The park is old-style with alot of permanent vans/sites showing their age, but it was one of the cheaper parks to stay.

I would recommend the place, even for families.

Die Winde wehten uns fast von der Strasse, die Landschaft wurde immer karger – und eigentlich hätten wir da schon merken müssen, dass uns Broome nicht willkommen heisst! ;-)

Just a short drive today - about a hundred metres to a new campsite, which we can stay at for at least two more nights. Apparently the caravan parks get busy leading up to the Staircase to the Moon tide times, especially this one as it is right where the phenomenon happens. We can't afford the time to hang around for it and none of us seem too …

Up early and into the water before sunrise. The water is calm with a slight offshore breeze. In a matter of minutes the sun starts to rise on the horizon and the sky and the sea become the same warm violet colour before slowly turning vivid orange. One of those moments where you wish you had a camera, but then you realize that sometimes it's better …

Today was a day of washing, shopping and organizing.

Our campsite is right next to a beautiful cafe on the beach where the smell of a cooked brekky was wafting over us all morning so we decided to have brunch at the cafe before we went out to do shopping and errands. It was delicious and such a wonderful place to sit and gaze out at the …

Dad drove to get the car serviced this morning and rode back on my bike. When he came back we all had a swim at the beach and went for a walk along the point. We decided to go snorkeling so we got our gear and went to the water. It was hard to see though as the water was clouded so we went back. Dad rode my …
