... photos hopefully give you some idea of the treasures they have here. It struck me that the artworks were actually so much better than the real thing - you would never see a bear with a thick, glossy, black coat just in the right light and in the right place now would you - and if you ever did, it would have moved before you cold paint it - and reached for your pepper spray ? The ones we see are usually preoccupied with eating, or have their backs to ...

    Thursday July 16 -Day 3

Today is the first day that we will visit one of the girls’ namesakes - Auburn, WY. It is going to be a very different drive today as we will be mainly on secondary roads. Auburn is a very small village off the beaten path so no freeways for us today.

You can never predict the winter weather in Wyoming and despite the fact that I had clear skies the whole way another factor slowed me down. Wyoming is notorious for its wind, especially so in the open grasslands in the southeastern part of the state, so much so ...

... in Wyoming looked good. The van was making a loud knocking noise on the rough roads so I checked underneath and found a loose rear shock. So we are stuck here until it is fixed drinking wine and watching HBO. Stay tuned. Nels
