Take a break in Dodgeville for Bernie to have a haircut in an old fashioned small town barber shop. Great town, nice people. ... quilts have been displayed in an area, a map is developed that guides the viewers to the location. The map will have an address, maybe a picture of the square and a name or explanation of its meaning. A few of the states that have developed quilt trails include, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky and our close neighbor, Iowa. WHO KNEW??

The visit with Dave at his Univ. of Northern Iowa Wesley Foundation went really well. We got one card out of it (a young man named Jordan) but I feel may get more down the road. There were some seniors present this evening but a lot of juniors as well. There were a lot of education, social work, and anthropology majors present in this group of students (about 12).Dave informed me of a couple of others that couldn't make it out ...

... pleased at our campsite. It overlooks what I think is the Cedar River. It is beautiful and very calming. I noticed that the trees seem different here too. Many of them are more vine-like or seem limp. Like semi-stiff shoestrings. But in the mist of bendy trees would be massive and wide trees. I really like these trees. The bark has deep grooves in it looks thick. We took a brief stroll to explore the area after we set up the tent and ate dinner. ...
