Arrived Sun 08/24 and drove up to Rock Creek Vista 9,190 and back down.
It was overcast but did get to see a lot. Since Anita was scared looking out over the drop offs, I decided to take her back up when you could not see the road. She was still scared.

Travel Day

Today was a travel day. We drove about 6 hours from the Black Hills of South Dakota to Montana. It was a beautiful drive. We really enjoyed the short time that we were able to spend in South Dakota, but we need to move forward toward Washington.

The drive was an easy, uneventful trip. Again, we love our new additional fuel tank which allows us to go almost a full day without stopping for fuel.

Due to weight considerations, and a couple of other things, I didn't pack a bible or songbook for the trip. I picked up a new bible when I arrived at the little Kingdom Hall on the edge of town in Columbus and borrowed a song book from their library as they were out of stock.

We decided to stop early today. We got here about 3 your time. Gas was $3.68gal, what a deal. Will head to ND tomorrow and might stay where ever for a couple of days. Just want to find a nice park that is pet friendly. Plan on bbqing on Sunday watch race on Saturday. Watching truck race now, Mary is in the bedroom doing what Mary does!!!
