        “I saw in one of those Small bottoms which I passed this
        evening an Indian fort which appears to have been built last Summer. This fort was built of logs and bark. The logs was put up very Closely capping on
        each other about 5 feet and Closely around which bark was Set up on end so as
        to Cover the Logs.”

        ... much of the time. Beautiful scenic drive.
        Stopped in Spearfish, SD for gas & coffee.
        9:35 AM - Route 90 West into Wyoming. West of Gillette, saw a sign saying there are no services, no exits for 70 miles! Crossed "Crazy Woman Creek" - interesting name!
        Some exits off Interstate are paved to bottom of exit ramp & then turn to dirt with a cattle guard across the road.

        12:30 PM - Saw snow-capped Rocky ...

        Due to weight considerations, and a couple of other things, I didn't pack a bible or songbook for the trip. I picked up a new bible when I arrived at the little Kingdom Hall on the edge of town in Columbus and borrowed a song book from their library as they were out of stock.

        The meeting was at 7pm on Thursday night, I had left Spokane at 10:30pm on Wednesday with something like 500 miles (800kms, remember) to cover. I ...

        ... Center we drove down Mt 89 to the West Yellowstone Gate and
        south to Old Faithful. We expected a crowd but nothing like what we
        found! With all the new building and added parking lots since our
        last visit in '76, well we just turned and left! It is a good thing
        we stopped and got our geyser fix in Soda Springs, Id. Like Teena

        We decided to stop early today. We got here about 3 your time. Gas was $3.68gal, what a deal. Will head to ND tomorrow and might stay where ever for a couple of days. Just want to find a nice park that is pet friendly. Plan on bbqing on Sunday watch race on Saturday. Watching truck race now, Mary is in the bedroom doing what Mary does!!!
