Waking up early in the morning with the sound of the waves crashing on the beach was a great experience for us. In fact it inspired us to put on our running gear and go for a quick jog on the beach. With all the best intentions Carla's run turned out to be a little quicker then expected as it turns out that her pregnancy and running don't seem to mix well together ( I'm still a bit suspicious about this but Carla is standing by ...

We arrive at The Ancient Redwoods RV Resort and the first thing we see is the Redwood Truck. Very Cool! We set up and settle in. We woke this morning to fog over the valley in the valley and sun shining over the hill. After another swim we left at 10.20am. From there we headed north to the redwoods. Stopping at the Chandelier Drive -thru tree for lunch and a play. The kids were more interested in playing with a pile of dirt than seeing the majestic tree. ...

A stop today in the town of Eureka to see the old town and Carson Mansion. A visit to the Trinidad Bay coastline to see the beach and Trinidad Memorial Lighthouse - a walk on the beach and lunch on the bay.
