Pretty nice place with a drive thru RV spot for us. Meatball had a big field to run around in so he was happy too.

We got 170 miles from Naples after FINALLY leaving the driveway around 3:00 PM and getting gas (never a fast thing). Driving up I75 was typical. The RV spot we had was nice with lots of flat pavement. Meatball had a field to run around in and we had some biking areas. All was well. Had a very lite dinner since we ate lunch very late. Nice evening of sitting outside and watching the sunset.

... and the parkway was there. Ok, I was expecting something more, but it was just another two lane road in a park. The road was good, very little in the way of warnings though. Then as I went up, the clouds and drizzle started and the temp dropped. It was 54 degrees. A few quiet pockets of clear, but then lots of drizzle. Decided that I had enough after the peak and the rain picked up. The drizzle stings ...

My parents will be there too, visiting from Colorado, so it will be a great trip. First I just have to get through a few more days of work. ...

... a treat to find like-minded people on any trip, but this trip is one for the books. One hundred passengers onboard and we have one thing in common from the very beginning—we all have the same adventurous spirit. On cruise ships you meet the “posers,” the people who have to tell you about every cruise ship on which they’ve sailed. They want to know how many cruises you’ve been on and where you’ve been. We've got another exciting year on the road planned - but only a rough outline in place right now.

JANUARY - Spending time in one of our favorite, home-like places - our friend Pat's place in the Webster/Bushnell area in Central Florida. We have several doctor appointments scheduled, and Greg's got a lot of projects he's hoping to get done on the ...
