Worth the 18-Hour Drive

... was it. It was actually tempting to stop by other cities (like New Orleans) but we didn't. I think the longest stretch there was on that trip was that long dark drive of 400+ miles, surprisingly I wasn't really feeling sleepy just sitting there for hours. Working an office job 8 hours straight from Monday- Friday worked to my advantage this time and It felt like I just worked 2 shifts straight.

... and we were right on time. It featured a great group called the Nouveau Honkies from Port Salerno FL. They played their country/rock/folk tunes for 3 hours.
