After leaving Normanville we travel with Ray and Helen until the turn off for home at Adelaide, then continue up the coast to Port Augusta. On arrival we discover another one of the original van Tyre's has distorted so we book in for 2 nights and the next day buy 2 new Tyre's for the van.
So the van has 4 new Tyre's and all new wheel bearings …

Port Augusta to Uluru
... monotonous. On our way into the campground we were able to see Mt. Connor which is really a sight to see as it is stuck out in the middle of nowhere as well.
We finally arrived at the campground Yulara and this place is quite lovely. It is comprised of hotels, cabins a shuttle sevice around the complex and we will explore tomorrow as we are here until Tuesday. It is good to be off the road and it is now 38 degrees C.

Day Four
... two and the water was still very cold. In the afternoon we visited the Arid Botanical Gardens which were fantastic.
