Great location, great price. Ranger programs on site every evening for kids, and close to Platte River and Lake Michigan

      ... YES!!

So tomorrow my adventure begins. I'm leaving at 7:30am January 12, 2015 Eastern Standard Time, and arriving at 5pm January 14, 2015 Auckland Time. I will never see the day January 13, 2015. How weird is that?! It's a long time to be traveling, but it will all be worth it when the wheels hit the tarmac in Auckland. There are so many lovely people to meet and so many incredible places to see!

      I'm excited to WWOOF ...

... not be there because I thought I would not be up to it. But last minute I changed my mind. Ms. Cheryl was my designated driver (thank you Cheryl). We all had a great time sharing memories of Bill and toasting to our boundless love for Bill and for all. I am so appreciative of all of you. Thank you, thank you! And now, I must somehow pull it all together again and move on, toward the top of my next mountain. No rush, as I hope to make the journey ...

This morning we drove the RV from Caledonia to Lake Ann where Steve and Jill and family live. Steve and Jill had a "field trip" planned for the day in the RV. What a fun way to travel with four grandkids and four adults! The grandkids called the RV the moving livingroom as they were able to sit at the table and color, look at books and have snacks. We traveled to Jakes Corn Maze where we picked apples, traveled through ...

Bill's visitation for the celebration of his life will take place on Saturday, September 27, 2014 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the funeral home at 305 6th St., Traverse City, MI. (231) 947-6347. Please send any picture of Bill that you think would be appropriate for his obit. Here is the tentative obit ...
