We left Albuquerque and headed west. We saw the temperature drop to -18 as we passed through the mountains in New Mexico (the elevation was over 7,000ft)!! Driving through the desert we saw these amazing cactus. They are called saguaro and can only be found in the Sonoran Desert. They can grow to 40-60 feet tall and can live for 200 years! WILD!!
