In the Saskatoon airport, we ran into Monty & Laurie Bathgate, also going to Phoenix. Once landed, they led us through the airport, up the elevator, onto the shuttle bus to the car rental station. That shaved off tons of time. It's a big airport.

... on my way out of town I drove over to the University of Arizona campus to see if I might take a look around and snap a pic or two, but alas, once I got onto the campus I found myself in gridlock…not sure if it was just daily traffic or some sort of Friday event going on, but in any case I got the heck outta Dodge as soon as I could creep through the traffic.

... asked her to join Gary, Sharon and me for supper in Salem-about 14 miles from her house. We ate at a Mexican place on N Commercial Street and it was good. I then drove her back to Woodburn and then home to the lonesome cat, and I have enough leftovers for tomorrow night. A bit of rain on the way home too.
