... the best looking on the block), and cooked a mean taco meal with our new tortilla press. I gained back most of the weight lost on the trip. It was a good intro back to America. Our last night we went to the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie. Or as one article I agree with put it, "The Megan Fox Show". Other than her face always being on the screen in a model pout, it was pretty wonderful. Next stop ...

Julian just wanted to play in the sand so Robin promised him he could after we looked at some of the sculptures. Pretty soon we entered the area where all the vendors and amateur sculptors were. They had an area set up where anyone could learn how to sculpt. Julian and Tyler had a good time trying to build something and they ...

... better than being in a traffic jam.

port Aransas was very different than south padre island. port Aransas is "rounder", like a half moon, it feels bigger than spi although i'm not sure it is. in spi you can almost see from one side of the gulf to the bay, port Aransas isn't like that. it's not the "strip" that spi is. and there is no town center to speak of but many little areas with a few shops and restaurants throughout the town. the birding center here has ...
