    When we left South Dakota we thought we were going north to Duluth MN. We started out, only to find that the electrical problems that had been plaguing us throughout the trip were back in force. We have had numerous problems,supposedly repaired en route only to find that they were recurring. We were tired of throwing money at the problem without resolving the situation.     ... black flies that cause quite a stir on the raft as people smacked each other in attempts to kill the miniature beasts. Well we survived the rafting trip and headed out to our next destination of Vacation Village in the Berkshires, a timeshare just outside of Albany across the MA border. We arrived safetly and checked in to our hotsy totsy new accommodations complete with a bed and TV's. Looking forward to what our new location can provide entertainment wise, we retire for the night.

    ... long after he retired to the tent. Just as a side note, the night before, my air mattress apparently sprung a leak. We agreed he would have the honors of the deflated side tonight. As I entered the tent, I found the boy comfortably sleeping on my side. One shove and he easily slid, face first, onto the non-inflated side of the tent. To my surprise, he did not notice the relocation until the wee hours of the morning, :)

    ... the town in the evening. The kids enjoyed the gelato. We stopped at an outdoor bar named Gaffney's for a drink and snack. We sat amongst the outdoor lights and played several rousing games of UNO-my favorite family time of the dar.
