We made it to Jasper. The weather on the way had returned to full sun and a few clouds. The terrain gradually became more hilly, then we crept into the mountains. The scenery is spectacular, rivers and mountain scenes galore. I am posting just few samples with the blog!

... they find a tire in Prince Rupert. They are closed on Sunday but take his credit card and will drop off the tire at the Shell station. We will have to change the tire ourselves. That shouldn't pose any problems tho.

Today we went on a 2hr Ice Walk in Maligne Canyon. On the way saw Elk & Mule Deer. THad to wear special spikes under our shoes. Was even able to walk on the bottom of the canyon. Was quite amazing. After lunch, took the kids to Pyramid ...

... the quiet and silence. You know that silence that is so loud it's deafening? We cheered ourselves up with a trip to Earl's where Noelene and Angela tested the chowder again and I sampled my first steak in Canada. Ratings were good all round... A slower day tomorrow. Our rental car is making a strange noise so might see if we can swap it and since it's Sunday we'll need to find something to worship-maybe our beds...it's been a busy ...
