          Early breakfast and it feels right to be moving on from Banff. A beautiful part of Canada but there's so much more to see and enjoy. Checked out and whilst I suspected the hotel staff were hoping for a tip - the only one I could muster was... replace the sofa bed in the apartment!           ... in Canmore the elk are always by our condo so we are used to them but this guy was very impressive and I had to get out of the car to take photos.           ... moving traffic but because of all the spectacular scenery along the way. It's impossible not to stop! Tall ice capped mountains, many with glaciers, framed by perfectly blue sky and turquoise rivers and lakes. Oh so beautiful.
