Basic clean quiet refuge for the tired travelor. We stayed in a suite that included a bathroom, small kitchen, and a deck. We stayed two nights and found Top 10 a convenient place to stop. Its just a 10 min walk along the waterfront to water taxis and downtown.

      Nelson - Picton

Gesagt, getan. Im Restaurant des Weinguts "Moutere Hills" genossen wir die Mittagsstunden bei Sonnenschein. Der …

I had seen all I wanted to see in New Zealand and I had a flight to catch Thursday, so I decided to leave Invercargill and drive all the way to Auckland. I checked out of the caravan park and went to a service station and filled the ute and jerry cans with petrol. I drive out of the servo at 6:30 and started driving north towards to the top of the …

After getting into Picton at 1:00am - we decided to bag the next night of camping in Queen Charlotte Sound and stay in Picton for two nights. This would give us time to recoup after a couple of full days of travel and late ferry travel. Alan was wanting to start driving on the correct side of the road again.... so we knew we should stay put and out …

... our way down through the resort to the bar on the foreshore and some well earned beers, cheese and oysters before. A water taxi ride back across the sound to Picton.  Andrea has managed to sort the luggage out, well almost, everything is here just not in the right rooms. Shower, change, rest and then out for dinner. After discussing the merits of green lip mussells extract as an anti inflammatory it seems appropriate to have some mussels for dinner....they were ...
