... is called. Hmmm, 24B is in the second to last row. I was not anticipating a fun trip, but it actually wasn't that bad. I found I did sleep a bit - even in the middle seat. Avianca doesn't have great food but it was OK. I was still thirsty...maybe from trying to drink so much to combat the altitude for so many days now - my body is used to it.

I was able to get window seats and at check-in, the young lady misunderstood me and thought I asked for seats further up front so she obliged me - that was nice. The not so nice thing was the man who overlapped his seat and bumped my arm as I tried to eat my breakfast. When you are sleep-deprived, this kind of thing can be extremely annoying.

Now I am in lovely surroundings here at the Vienna airport - well, maybe not exactly ...

Niagara Falls-
I bought a new camera for this trip. Thought it was time to upgrade from my Nikon Coolpix point and shoot so we bought a Nikon Coolpix with a big ole zoom but its still basically a point and shoot, just doesn't fit in my purse now. Anyhow, it comes with one of the straps so you can carry it around your neck and really scream "tourist"!! Well I did just that ...strapped on the camera ...

We left Ballston Spa with lots of tears all around. We have had a wonderful time enjoying the everyday routine of the kids and being able to participate in their activities. It is very hard to leave. We spent the night in Tremont PA which is in the Appalachian Mts. When we woke up the temp was 43 degrees! We drove on down rt 81 toward our destination of Farmington Pa and Fallingwater. This stretch took us longer than anticipated because we had to cross the Appalachian and Alleghany ...

... though. We opted for sharing a corn soup (unusual white split kernels of corn in a beige-colored soup - from the beans probably) and a taco on fried dough that was quite good. Kara was willing to share the strawberry juice but since it was so hot, I thought we should both have one for better hydration. The strawberry juice had real strawberries floating in it and was quite good!

We had decided to sit under one of the tents since the tables ...
