Great place to stay. Only complaint is that it's $50 per night, which is a bit excessive.

Very well situated park, easy walk to Cable Beach, cafe, tavern etc. Sites are small for large vans but many have good shade.

      Crunch of dusty gravel

Well located, easy walk to Cable Beach. Sites are a bit hemmed-in and on a gravel surface that gets raked everyday sending up plumes of dust - why? Amenities are the standard old, worn and of dubious hygiene. Pool is quite nice & good temperature but whole area could do with a make-over. Mum and dad stayed in a cabin that was very basic - think site shed with worn old bedspread and linen circa 1985. Disappointing considering the cost.

Only been here a day but seems OK. I think Broome CV parks have got it all their own way and need some real hurry up and a bit more competition. The fact that there is not a CV park here that will take pets is backward (not that we have one) and there seems to be rules that only favour the park owners and lets not talk about the price. As I said they need some competition. They couldn't get away with this anywhere else in Aust and the place is not that unique.

We've got a powered site, nice and shady and large enough to have the shade up next to the trailer and the car beside. Lots of BBQ's scattered through the park, and nice big clean shower/toilet blocks

We loved how this park was so close to Cable Beach, pubs and the beach front restaurants... the pool was ok, the sites were gravel, ant infested and the ablution blocks were less than satisfactory, not even providing soap!! It could be so good, we were dissappointed.

Wow so nice to be back on the coast, with some mild sea breezes! We are staying right next to Cable Beach; Australia's only beach to be one of the Top 5 beaches in the world!! At first I was thinking "what?? Worlds top 5, no way" but after a blowy few days the wind settled and Cable Beach is truly stunning! Km's of pristine white sand and gorgeous …

We have about 3 hours to travel and we're on the road by about 9.30am today. We travel about an hour and a half and stop at the Willare Bridge Roadhouse for a coffee and to refuel. The coffee is not up to our normal standard and comes from one of those automated machines where you make your own coffee, so we leave it and get back on the road again …

We were very excited about heading to Broome. After all the red dust, it was nice to get back to the coast again and the white sands of Cable Beach (which is Australia's only beach rated in the World Top 5).

Broome is about 2,400km North of Perth and made famous when the World’s largest pearl was found there (leading to the …

We decided that after a couple of weeks with a bit of stress that we'd stay in Broome for a week.

We got a site at Palm Grove caravan park at Cable Beach, about 400 metres over a large sand dune to the beach. Most of the people were "older" & apparently stay for a few months. A totally different feel to parking in a free stay in the …

A short trip from Derby to Broome, approx 210km, seen us arrive and set up by lunch time. Our first stop after lunch was Cable Beach and down to test the water, just about perfect. The sand is so fine and the water a perfect blue, it looked quite inviting. We then checked out the township and got our bearings. Back at the caravan we readied for our …
