... that the car that Nick and Patti are towing had a dead battery. We were going to need to jump start it but neither one of us had jumper cables onboard. While the boys assessed the problem I took off and walked through the rest area asking people if they had any cables we could borrow. Finally, a trucker, who was obviously middle eastern by his appearance, loaned us his jumper cables. This is awful but as nice as he was to help us out I found myself wondering what kind ...

... a Toyota Venza but decided to upgrade to a Ford Flex as we think that is a much more comfortable and roomy car. ... a glimpse of a waddy or arroyo. Some of these things erode to 10-20 feet. Again it was amazing to see a river 200 feet wide with a trickle of water down the middle.
