... but every night we were entertained with the best fireworks show I have ever seen. To end the festival we also were able to see a concert of 4 bands, two unknowns, Sawyer Brown and Josh Turner.

I sure hope you can get a feel of how amazing it was through my pictures. You will notice that we started out sitting but didn’t stay down for long because you HAD to look 360 degrees so you didn’t miss anything. At times we were totally surrounded by balloons, landing ...

Bright and early we headed to Kirkland AB again. It was decided that instead of us being driven down to Socorro, we would be flown down in order to have some glider flights. However tired though sleep was a bit restless that first night and did not come ...

My father had the chile verde plate (pork in a tomatillo sauce) which was good. They didn’t have any desserts I wanted so I bought a cinnamon and a chocolate tortilla from the street side booth for $1. There are 2 tortilla booths--one at each end of the restaurant. While ...

... came to us "Well, I'm standing on the corner in Winslow Arizona and such a fine sight to see". The Eagles must have been talking about that girl in the flatbed Ford because there sure aint much else to see. It's another little Route 66 town that I'm sure was a hot spot back in the day, but little happening this morning. Running out of things to talk about, we decide the radio will save us from talking for a bit. Given where we are, we try listening to ...
