... waiting we all had the luxury of an afternoon nap! Lynn and Steve arrived at 5pm and we hit the beach, despite the cooler cloudy weather. (If we were waiting for the sun to come out we might still be waiting!)

Hadn't seen my cousin Bob Edy's new digs in Ucluelet so thought I'd drive to Uki and pay him a visit. Hadn't been there since I quick salmon fishing back in '80. Couldn't believe how that place had changed. It is no longer a small backwater fishing village but a thriving tourist centre. Who would have thought it!
