    ... I let Barbara and girls go ahead and I would bring up the rear in case they decided to attack from behind. I would keep the family safe. The plan worked and we made it to hunters rendezvous point without any incident. Barbara decided she was going to head back to base camp , do Hana, Maya and I headed to the general store for provisions. Yep, that is code for ice- cream!     The anchorage was thick with fog this morning but because we want to be close to the Juan De Fuca at the first break of good weather we decided to move for Bamfield today. We left a little later to give the sun the opportunity to burn some of the fog away (...didn't do much). Chart Plotter, radar, me at the bow – we took no chances as we left.     ... and do something kind for someone else. One of those goes around comes around / pay it forward / karma things. There's no exchange of money involved (although a bottle of wine or a good meal is appreciated) and the visits are arranged through a website that provides a profile of each user and a surfing request system.     ... far as im aware, noone has died so i think it was a successful jaunt. We then spent some time at the local event of the month - the mushroom extravaganza, which although was suitably mushroomy, lacked in extravagance.     Took a short walk ( about 2 miles up the beach ) to the hole in the wall early this morning. It was so pretty with the mist on the water, although the weather was a bit dull and overcast.
