We left the city that never sleeps while it was sleeping. Yep, there's about 20 mins between 4.45 and 5.05am on Tuesdays when all except Aussie tourists and limo drivers are awake. ... day. The scenery took our breath away so we stopped a lot for pictures and to soak it all in. After lunch, we made a pit stop for some shaved ice and cruised into the host after what ended up being a longer day than expected, but definitely the kind of day it's worth taking the time to enjoy every bit of it. ... a sign by the cash register that said "Your husband called - you can buy anything you want!" We all laughed at that, and my grandma did indeed purchase the hummingbird.

After that, we went back to the hotel to have dessert! Our dessert was pound cake with whipped cream, along with delicious strawberries, blueberries, and blackberries! It was wonderful, and we all loved it! It was great eating it with family in Ouray, Colorado. A perfect end to tonight!

... that and the reasoning behind it is apparently to help conserve water. At least we had the option to shower in the trailer! We had a quiet afternoon hanging out at the campground and everyone was in bed early after the late movie the night before.
