... wide open beaches, sunset over the water, birds flying, a gentle breeze blowing - what a nice way to spend the evening. Pismo beach is a large seaside town with vast expanses of sand and many restaurants and beachy type shops playing for the tourist dollar. ... in Santa Maria! Never mind, Mike and Mercina got souvenirs of their own - boots. Another Boot Barn with 10,000 pairs of boots and none I liked.

We finally arrived in Pismo Beach at 6pm only to find it full. We are staying at the Pismo Coast Village (www.pismocoastvillage.com) which had just one space left. They must have n
known we were coming. Had a lovely dinner at the PCV Grill and now relaxing in the RV and making plans to hit the beach tomorrow.

... I slowly grinded up freaking halfway up with a tarantula of the size of Dan’s hand on the trail… it was huuuge!
