... do a trolley tour of the area tomorrow. It rained all morning, so wandered off on foot just before midday. Firstly, followed a sign that said the beaches, but after a while it was apparent that the beaches were some distance away. Decided we would do these by car on our way out tomorrow. We stopped for a last look at the ocean and now are on our way home.
We crossed the bridge over the Mantazas River and could see the Yacht Club on one side and St. Augustine College on the other side.
This has been another fun family time. Where to next year??? Time will tell.

... Charles, Bob and I went to McDonalds for dessert and had hot fudge sundaes. Perfect ending to our dinner. Some of the "kids" are going to play putt-putt and some are going on a ghost tour. Sounds like fun. After ice cream, we went back to the hotel to sit on the balcony in Tricia's room. Forgot to mention that when we checked in, they got our room with the ocean view..... Sitting on the balcony was fun but it is time for bed. ...
... in the sea. Which I might add was warm for the Atlantic Ocean, note the science comment there on global warming.
Or is it just the Gulf Stream or North Atlantic Drift as some know it.
We returned to shower and dinner in the Sunset Grille where we had Beers, Wine, Salad, Pasta and Chicken Parmigiana. Then we crossed the road to our hotel and went to bed at the end of another great ...
After a last minute glitch with the RV back-up camera requiring a stop by McGeorge's, we headed off from the dreary land of Richmond to sunny Florida, stopping at Fayetteville KOA (uneventful) to St. James Island County Park in Charleston (wonderful), and finally to St. Augustine (Bryn Mayr Ocean Resort). The park in Charleston was wonderful--we'd stay there again. It had the best ...
