Hunkered down in Vegas
We had a big blow come through the desert with sustained winds at 40mph and gusting to 60. We decided to stay another night in Vegas and let it blow itself out. I've driven this rig in high winds before, on the 5 over the Grapevine, and it is no fun. So Utah will have to wait another day.
Sizzling all the way to Vegas
Our first leg of the trip - Bakersfield to Las Vegas- took us about 6 hours.
