... trying to cure their hangovers. After we ate, we explored a little before getting back in the car and heading towards Minneapolis, Minnesota - a 4 hour drive. ... The tour boats were crazy. They definitely strove to provide an element of thrill for their passengers. They did a high-speed donut in the river in front of us. It made for some nice waves to make the kids feel like they were at the ocean for a spell.

... blowing bubbles on everyone. I'm guessing that the increase in the number of children seated around the track had something to do with that.

From here we headed out in hopes of finding a trail where we could hike to the gorge and view the canyon before the thunderstorms let loose. Unfortunately, we were not able to beat the storms so we returned to the hotel.

We didn't put many miles on today but we definitely fed the fun meter for this ...

... wonder if we would have a middle of the night emergency. We sort of
did. The carbon monoxide monitor kept going off. We had no gas on and
sometimes cleaning products and aftershave etc... can set it off. This
was midnight though so we checked all the gas and couldn't find
anything. It went off every 2 minutes so we cracked open the windows
