    There were tons of birds around the boardwalk and in the water on the way to the falls. As we started up the steps alongside Bridal Veil Falls we quickly discovered why they give everyone sandals.     One of the features of John's Gate is the gourmet breakfasts that Meheroo produces..
    The breakfast that we were presented with was spectacular.
    Multiple berry and fruit medley on yogurt over a bed of granola..
    followed by Smoked salmon with scrambled eggs on a bed pf sliced baby potato
    followed by slices of poppy seed lemon cake

    ... vodkas. Eventually getting our things together, wandered down to check out the free breakfast…not so exciting; then went to do the white water walk conveniently located about 2 minutes’ walk from the hostel. After heading back to Dad’s diner for lunch we had a rather quiet afternoon.
