      We liked the Newport Dunes RV park so much, that we decided to stay an extra night. So, we went to Huntington beach and caught the tail end of the US Open surfing competition. We even got to see the women's champion, Taylor Wright from Australia, win her event. What a crazy event this was with a ton of people!! After this, we took the boys surfing …

      Today the boys took surfing lessons from Surfari in Newport Beach and surfed for the first time!! They both had a good time and got up and rode some waves, but didn't realize how tiring it was going to be. Ryan said, "I've never been this tired in my life!" After working up a good appetite, we had lunch at a local restaurant called Eat Chow.

      Drove 2 hours the LA area. Briefly stopped in Hollywood to see the "Hollywood" sign and to walk along the "walk of fame."       ... have it, Katrina and I ended up in the same car, despite being single riders. So that was a surprise! The ride was all cute at first, and then It got fast and hilly.
