Today the boys took surfing lessons from Surfari in Newport Beach and surfed for the first time!!  They both had a good time and got up and rode some waves, but didn't realize how tiring it was going to be. Ryan said, "I've never been this tired in my life!" After working up a good appetite, we had lunch at a local restaurant called Eat Chow.

Headed out of this crazy area, and it took 2 1/2 hours …

But I've made up for my disgrace at disliking 'the tamest of fairground rides' (which it completely isn't) by loving the big rolllercoaster, I think. The funniest coincidence of the day was meeting two Aussies, the only two we'd come across (though we were on the lookout, or 'hear-out' for more!) Their accents (which I'm sure were broader than ...

... for a midday rest (where we watched England lose to Uruguay and effectively exit the football World Cup after two games) and then went to Disneyland in the afternoon. With the three day hopper pass we are allowed to visit both parks. Disneyland was much busier but we visited the Princess Castle and watched the parade. We left in time to have a quick dinner at Downtown Disney and ...
