There is a large population of Axis deer that have escaped and bred, the State Parks have a drawing for hunters every year. During that time the parks are closed to the public. Travelers take note!!!

The water is so low there is nowhere to float. So James, the boys, and I took the day to drive up the river to see if there were any places with flowing water. We drove through Garner and found the swimming hole which was pretty cool with paddle boats and rope swings.
