Dismal day......
Was overcast most of the day. This was our "lazy day" before our first long drive day of the trip. Our only accomplishments today: Bobby filled up both propane tanks, I took a shower and we went to Bob Evans for Lunch/dinner.
Yesterday we did get to spend time with my son Brach, his wife Emmie and their daughter Kimber. Kimber is growing …
Visiting Pam and Don
We got up in the morning and Linda called Pam, her friend from work, who moved to Nashville a couple of years ago. We decided to head for Nashville. Pam and her husband Don live a motor home in a KOA park just down the road from the Grand Ole Opry. They secured a space for us in the KOA Park. This coming weekend is the CMA Festival, so we were …

This KOA was a 4 out of 5 because while the campground is nice and well kept, the amount of noise generated by the highway was enough to take away from the experience. The store doesn't stock much. The workers are nice enough, but there wasn't the same amount of enthusiasm we have seen at other KOA's. We would stay here again because it's close to my family.
