By the time the coach pulled into our Hotel La Finca in Catemaco, it was dark. I hauled my luggage up to my large room on the third floor and came back down for the welcome cocktail party. For anyone wanting to retire in Mexico this area is a really good place to consider. There are lots of places to go and things to do. The beach is only 30 minutes from Catemaco and San Andres Tuxtla is only 15 minutes away and has lots of shopping.
