Today was a nice quiet "geeky" type of day. The ones that librarians love! We spent many a joyful hour at the Norfolk Archives! It was actually a lot better than it sounds. Drove straight to Colchester,where we got seriously lost amidst the one way system, before eventually finding our way to the Military Tournament. The library at Blickling Hall contained and still contains one of the most historically significant collections of manuscripts and books in England. visit to Blingham.Next leg of our holiday is in Cornwall, Devon and the New Forest, spanning a 3 week period and starting on Friday 11th July.

Until then we are in Kent which is our "home" base.

Another wet day but there was not too much for us to do as we were awaiting the arrival of Rosemary and Elaine, due in at around 20:45. After catching up on emails etc in the café we popped up to the supermarket in the pouring rain. There was an Alko next door ( Finland's equivalent to Sweden’s Systembolaget) where Richard wanted to acquire a bottle of Finnish vodka, which later that evening proved to be very smooth indeed.
