    Dragon hunting in Norwich

    ... br> There was no way we could see all of the dragons, but we did see a lot, so we called it a day and headed back from Norwich on the 16.54 East Midlands Trains service to Nottingham (nicely before the football crowds hit the streets) for the journey back to Nottingham which, with a quick connection, had us back into Derby at 20.07.

    It really was a most pleasant day out and if you want to hunt for the GoGoDragons then be in Norwich before the 5th September 2015!

    Today was truly a day off. Our four boys were competing in a junior tournament at Broadlands. I woke up at 8:30, dressed and headed over to the club to watch Rohan play his first match. He was actually playing in two divisions, under 15 and under 19. Will and Wiatt also played but Sam had injured his hip flexor in the previous night's match. One of the best matches of the day was Wiatt's final match for 7/8. He played a Sam whom I had reffed earlier ...

    We matched up against Broadlands at 4. I played Jon, who was a definite runner. He had a lot of heart on court. I won 3-1. Richard played a guy called Jamie who had won the 40+ at the British Open. He didn't feel good about the first game but was in there in the 2nd and 3rd, eventually losing 3-0. Overall we lost 6-4 in matches.

    ... said that this was one of the most desirable clubs in the area. We had a hit on court to get used to the court. Jen and Julie and I played some conditional games to tune up. My belly was still causing me some grief. I just knew that a cream tea was not in my future. I wanted to play with a relatively empty stomach at 7.

  • Lessons are 45 minutes long. TE is taught in a double period. They only get 2 lessons per week
  • Number of students in each class vary usually between 8 and 12
