Dixie and I went on yet another adventure to the Town of Owls Head, Maine capturing the true heart of this Coastal Community. Lobster. We learned that the Lobstermen of these parts pull out there Lobster traps and buoys just before winter because of the harsh weather conditions consistently staying in the teens and well into the negative temperatures. Most Lobstermen pull up these traps by hand hence why its absolutely understandable why they are all stacked on this ...
With the temp in the 20s all day we are READY to get going. Still getting things loaded in the RV and have scheduled eye doctor and dentist visits to be as sure as we can be that we are healthy and ready for several months 'out of Dodge'.
Our 2006 Navion H is ready to go, all systems are go and we have a place for everything we will be bringing.
... and skills. It's sounds great and everyone I spoke to had brilliant experiences. Anyways, lots of stories later we arrived at Unity, the town where the fair was. We parked up, left Dan at the volunteer gate and headed in to the fair. Considering it was a Friday and most people wouldn't turn up until the Saturday, I was amazed at the amount of people there. It's a familiar set up to any large scale country show, food stalls, craft tents, a few demo ...
... but BE, just be. Two weeks ago when I was suppose to leave originally...I wasn't ready to go. After these past two weeks, I can now truly say, I am. It was a blessing in disguise to have to wait. Everything works out somehow. It really does.

There's a small memorial tower you can climb, which makes the views even more stunning by expanding it to 360 degrees. Perhaps local poet Edna St. Vincent Millay's words are best, from her poem Renascence:
All I could see from where I stood

I turned and looked another way,
And saw three islands in a bay.
