    ... the National Heritage building Timberline Lodge, tossed snow balls, hiked to cwonderful waterfalls, seen salmon, and just enjoyed the wonderful area.

    ... a pizza, fuel, hardware store, or a pharmacy? Stevenson has it all, just on a smaller scale. We attend church there on Sunday mornings. After church we walk the dogs in the fair grounds that are located across the street from church.     ... steep, but that kept us going quickly. As we approached the timberline, the snow changed to rain, a very cold rain at that, and we ran most of the rest of the way back to the lodge. By the time we got back, we were drenched and freezing. We got back to our room, changed into dry clothes, and almost immediately built a fire.
