After lunch, we drove to the Timberline Lodge on Mt. Hood. Mt Hood is another of the Seven Wonders of Oregon. The lodge is on the south side of Mount Hood. The lodge was built in 1936 to 1938 as part of the Works ...

We found an authentic French bakery just blocks from the Laundromat (with terrible service – very French indeed!), and bought brunch to eat while our laundry was running. The machines were very ...

... a very specific set of atmospheric conditions to form them, usually at high altitude over a mountain range.

Coming down was almost as challenging as the climb up to the top...there was even one spot where I sat down and slid several yards on my butt...that turned out to be a good idea, since one person in our group fell there, despite using her walking poles.
