    Left home at 7:45, 66 degrees. We went north on Hwy 75 and then to Hwy 69 to I40 and then north on 540 and then to Hwy 71. Drove to Cave City, Ar and stayed at The Creeks Rv Resort. Very nice, but pricey at $41. The diesel prices are good at $3.45 /gal. The weather was nice ...

    On my way up the state of Arkansas, in Heber Springs I stopped by the Ozark Country Market. Cute place with good selection of produce and healthy snacks. Got a few things and headed on to find Tricia and Jim in Horseshoe Bend.

    Last year came around a corner and hit a round rock which dented my front wheel rim and caused my GPS to fly off. The year came around the corner and there right in the middle of my lane was a Land Turtle exactly the same size as the rock! This time I missed it :-)

    ... stroll around the downtown area which seemed to be all Antique (2nd hand) shops and bought a CD from one of them. It was one from my childhood, Roger Miller's 'King of the Road'. I can;t wait until I can get home and play it.

    --Bonafide String Band from Hardy (5 people--banjo, guitar, fiddle, hammer mandolin, dulcimer). --Mary Parker, 9 years old, amazing violin player.
    --Leatherman's were the best; amazing singer and dulcimer player.
    --The MC's humor really added to the night's entertainment.
    The only negative was the broken air conditioner, which made it was quite warm.
