Night 26: Grand Canyon? Check. From St. George, UT, to Jacob Lake, AZ Today we drove 248 miles and made little progress toward home. I guess today was a bit of a break. After another 13? miles we arrived at our Phoenix hotel, unfortunately it was ...

... Dolores out for a three plus mile ride in the park. There aren’t any actual trails here. It’s hilly and makes for a great workout.
I got a text from that it was snowing a bit there in Helena. I must actually admit, yep, that I do not miss the late and unreliable spring there. I hope that by the time I return it will be there... seriously.

... m photographing in nature. When my wife and family are with me I tend to slow them up. Plus with the life I lead I'm always on the go. So escaping in nature is my time to relax, and reflect on my life. I often listen to music while hiking and shooting. Its funny how a song while hiking can inspire a moment for me to stop and just look around. I'm often asked what do I look for when I'm shooting. I simply tell people that for me ...
