Well today was different. After talking some this morning with a couple of other bikers i headed to a AAA office in Grants Pass to get a western states map.. We had a light day of touring today. We went to the Turtle Museum and Arboretum. It's the Redding children’s museum and adult’s garden. The museum had some interesting displays about the history of the area and a huge aquarium with native fish in it. Some of the fish were sturgeon, brown trout, striped bass, and other 2’+ fish. …
We're here a day early and we’re taking time to catch up on "stuff": changing the oil in the truck, computers, email, washing, groceries, and rest. In general, it’s a day for the things of life.

Great level and large RV sites with good amentities and lots of shade trees. Friendly staff. There is a nice pool and hot tub area! And continental breakfast! We stopped on our way north!
